I recently had the honor of chatting with power pop legend Peter Case, whose illustrious career as a solo artist as well as member of the Plimsouls and the Nerves (with Paul Collins, who we interviewed here) fills volumes in the annals of rock history. I’ve been a huge fan of Peter’s creative output and was eager to sit down with him outside (at an intimate outdoor venue in Eagle Rock, California) to talk more about his humble beginnings as a street performer in San Francisco, his re-released first solo album, and his extensive history of musical collaboration with countless influential artists, amongst other topics. I was enlightened by Peter’s insights and thoughtful, in-depth responses to my questions.
